Are you a parent who is sick and tired of not being
able to find movies and TV shows that reflect your
values? Do you find the MPAA ratings to be grossly
miscalculated?
We do too, so we're going to do something about it.
The Sacramento Chapter of the American Rabble
Rousers 'Gainst Hardasses (YARGH), in conjunction with
the Concerned (Rightfully) American Pirate Parents
(CRAPP), and the Concerned Pirate Parents of America
(CPPA) invite you to come protest the disappearance of
the American pirate in family entertainment, the
systematic "de-pirating" of what could be
pirate-oriented materials, and the MPAA's grevious
errors in rating too few movies "ARR".
ON MAY 12, we will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Amtrack
Station in Downtown Sacramento, and the marching
protest shall commence at 3 p.m. sharp.
We will visit various movie theatres along our trek,
and end up on the steps of California's glorious
capital building, as we'll be letting the legislature
know what we stand for.
After our (no doubt successful) campaign upon the
capital, we'll relax back with a pint of Grog at
various establishments, and spread our piratey good
cheer.
